You may be aware that the MELSIG community is crowdsourcing toolkits to support academic innovation. On the 21st of June we are running the next MELSIG event in Sheffield using Toolkit in a Day methodology. One of the secrets to that is to encourage people to submit useful materials beforehand.
This call goes out to the innovators – we want to hear your voice! As with the Audio Feedback Toolkit, we want to hear what you have to say about our three new toolkit themes – Podcasting for Pedagogic Purposes, Social Media for Learning, and Flipped, Active & Blended learning. We would be delighted if you would agree to contribute a short (<3 minutes) recording using the following structure:
- Contributor’s name and affiliation
- Context – the circumstances that led to the innovation
- Description of how the innovative method was/is being used
- Observations
- 3 tips for others who would be interested in doing something similar.
Please send audio recordings (Wav or MP3 files or links to existing audio) to a.j.middleton ‘at’ shu.ac.uk using a file transfer service like WeTransfer
Over the next week we will be devising further ways you can contribute so that our toolkit builders have plenty to work with. Thanks.
