MELSIG has launched the Journal of Media Enhanced Learning.

A free open and online journal, its purpose is to promote and inspire innovation in the good use of digital and social media in post-compulsory education.

JMEL will publish two Special Issues each year. The first issue will appear in October 2015. A call for papers has been announced today for Research Papers, Case Studies of Practice, Ideas for Innovative Good Practice, and Viewpoints papers. Papers will address the topic A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words. The journal also accepts submissions in the form of digital media artefacts.

Further details can be found from the JMEL part of this site and from the Call page itself. The journal uses the Open Journal System and you can register with it on the SHU OJS site.
