The Steering Group brings together volunteers from UK post-compulsory education institutions. The group steers, manages and delivers MELSIG activities ensuring they are commensurate with MELSIG’s purposes and values.

Terms of Reference

To,

1. advise on and contribute to the management and administration of the SIG;

2. advise and keep under review the SIG’s scope, direction, purpose, continuity, and sustainability;

3. maintain an overview of emerging and future practice in digital and social media, and linked research and investigation;

4. advise on communication strategy;

5. oversee the planning, organisation, delivery and evaluation of community facing activities;

6. approve evaluation or other reports on SIG direction, progress and achievements.
