It was suggested during one of the sessions at #melsigntu that MELSIG could set up an Internet Radio station. That or a podcast.
We used to have a podcast channel hosted on Podcastomatic but, like our journal (JMEL), it takes a special effort to find extra time to make these things happen.
If you are interested in contributing to a MELSIG radio/podcast channel in any way have a look at this Google Doc.
The Digital Narratives focus worked out well for MELSIG on our visit to Nottingham Trent University last week. Thanks again to Elaine Swift, Charlie Davis and everyone there who hosted the event perfectly.
Would all presenters make sure either I or Charlie have a copy of presentations, handouts or links to materials you used. And thank you too.
We will now do what we always do – turn the programme page into a live resource. We will have all the presentations there and I audio recorded much of what we did and will embed that too via Soundcloud.
Thanks again to Rebecca Sellars, Neil Withnell and Graham McElearney for their efforts in running the Storify experiment. More on that soon as we bring all the final pieces together in the three stories. If I get a chance I will also make a post hoc Storify report and share that with the other materials via the event page.
